About the Grand Rapids Public Library's Photographs Collection

The Photographs Collection is a catch-all collection that is made up of various small accessions of photographs, having no other collection home or which are duplicates of images in other collections. It contains a wide variety of images, the bulk of which focus on Grand Rapids history, as well as lumbering, social activities and parades. It also contains a large series of photos of people, including group portraits.
